The original is in the Fort Ontario collection in a sealed case so work was done from a photo. The picture with the mirror being held shows how it was designed to fit the thumb for holding. The original Porter mirror has a mirror on the front and on the back as does our reproduction! The original has one good and one cracked side. See last picture for the original.
